The Health Information Exchange (HIE) Subsidy Program
An AHCCCS-funded program that supports bidirectional connectivity
Through funding available from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and Health Current, formerly Arizona Health-e Connection, offers the HIE Subsidy Program to support the participation of eligible hospitals, federally-qualified health centers (FQHCs), rural health clinics (RHC) and now also eligible providers in bidirectional health information exchange through the HIE.
The program subsidizes implementation fees of eligible HIE participants who complete bidirectional connectivity with the HIE. Due to limited funding, subsidies are available on a first come, first served basis.
